The Raiconian Alliance uses light-based weapons, engine drives, and generators.
-Energy Generator-
The Raiken energy generators use trapped photons, and constantly barrage the photons with heat, causing light energy bursts. Heat recyclers recapture the heat energy to reuse. The emitted photon energy, is sent to 4 energy pylons that have rings of cooled ion coils. The energy travels upwards, and is stored in the central pylon. The energy is then sent out via energy transmitters at the top of the central pylon.
-Energy Gun Cores-
Raiken weaponry uses energy cores to fire rounds, instead of ammunition clips. Designed as a smaller version of a energy generator, the only difference is that Gun Cores eventually run out of heat, which means photon energy cannot be released. Also, energy is not released into pylons, using an energy focuser, it propels each burst of energy out the barrel of the gun.
-Raiconian Trans-Light Engine and Standard Propulsion Engine-
The Standard propulsion engine is designed like an energy generator, except the emitted energy is not cooled or transformed. The energy is focused down a engine thruster tube, forcing the ship forwards.
The Standard FTL Drive allows ships to travel faster than light relatively safely.
The Trans-light Dimensional engine is designed differently however. Using a energy generator, the emitted energy is focused onto a horizontal spire located on the bottom of the ship. Focusing the energy on the tip of the spire, it fires enough energy to rip a dimensional hole, entering a trans-light dimension. This dimension allows the ship to travel much faster than light, but also has significant risks.
-Some ships disappear inside the Trans-light dimension, never returning
-Jumps are not pinpoint accurate, ships lands within a few hundred kilometers near their target, sometimes causing a fleet to land INSIDE a planet.
The Trans-light Dimensional engine also has an anti-matter containment field surrounding it, providing significant protection against attacks, also containing a malfunctioned trans-light portal should it occur.
-Raiconian Shielding Technology-
Raiconian Light Shields, are emitted from the central core. Light Energy is pulsed around the ship, stopping projectiles, cannons, torpedoes, and other weapons. However once light energy is not produced enough to surround the ship, it begins to protect only certain parts. Once shields are completely exhausted, it takes time for the shield core to recreate the shields.
-The Light Gauntlet Communication System-
The Light Gauntlet Communication System, or the LGCS for short, uses power from the gauntlet to display images simulated from light. The LGCS is standard in all military armor, and used for comm chatter, data relays, and creating an accurate representation of a battlefield. The LGCS is not unlike a computer terminal in design. It transmits data directly, and receives from the closest data terminal. Data can also be broadcasted from orbiting ships.
-Raiconian Gauntlet-
Due to the Gauntlets versatility, the gauntlet could be considered a tech on it's own. The Gauntlet, with the ability to store weapons, like the Ion Sword, and the Compact Bow, makes it great for military use. It also equipped with the LGCS (Mentioned above) The gauntlet is equipped with it's own power core, separate from the suits power grid. The gauntlet is able to emit energy from the palm, creating a powerful punch if necessary, however, it drains the power core quickly. The gauntlet also emits high-power low-range magnetic field, making much harder to disarm the user. The Gauntlet is also the core key to activating and operating most Raiconian Weaponry, vehicles, and technology. Without a gauntlet, other races are hard-pressed to use any Raiconian technology.
