The Raiken are a warrior race, dedicated to defending it's freedom, culture, and views on expansion. They are also Xenos (Aliens) but are built much like humans, though larger, and slightly stronger.

Average Height:
Male: 6' 2" to 7' 2"
Female: 5' 10" to 6' 8"
Average Weight:
Male: 205 lbs to 250 lbs
Female: 185 lbs to 220 lbs
Raiken are bipeds, have opposable thumbs, but only have four fingers on each hand, and four toes on each foot.
Skin Color: All Raiken are usually a shade of light blue or teal. Males are generally darker than females, but not always.
Eye Color: The most common eye color is blue, however, a rarity of green, or black eyes are seen. (Shifters always have green eyes)
Hair Color: Brown or Black is the most common hair color. Though elders and Shifters have pure white hair.
Facial Hair: Raiken grow some facial hair, in the form of a beard. Their hair also grows down their neck.
Reproduction: Raiken reproduce by sexual reproduction via sexual intercourse.
Interactions
The Raiken are a democratic body, and no Raiken is better than another. Only military members, religious members, political officials, and the Shifters are treated any different. The military is respected, as all citizens realize that they protect them. Religious Members are honored, as they bring the Sentinels Word and judgement. Political Officials are met with mixed emotions, as democratic as the Raiken are, politicians don't always fulfill their promises. Shifters are also met with mixed emotions, they are feared and revered.
Religion
The Raiken zealously believe in the Sentinels dominance. They believe that the Sentinels were their saviors, and saved their race, and selected them for ascension. Though they have no idea why the Sentinels disappeared, they are devoted to finding why.
History! Background to the Raiken
-The Raiken's origin in space occurs on the planet, Oushino, which is located closer than normal to the galactic core. The gravity was also lesser than Earth's standard gravity, resulting in their increased height and weight. The blue skin resulted from their sun, which radiated different types of gamma rays, bringing out different skin pigments.
-The Raiken started out on Oushino, and organized into roaming bands of hunting parties. As their intellect improved over evolution and experience, they began to travel in larger and larger groups. After increased success, the Raiken began to travel as one race, eventually stopping, and creating their first city. Their first city, named after the guiding moon, Lunaxus, in the Raiconian Tongue, meaning "Guiding Moon". The Raiken discovered the Sentinel relics on their homeworld, and due to their primitive nature, believed that they were relics from the gods. The Raiken evolved into intelligent life, and began to research. After achieving gunpowder, civil wars broke out, and ravaged the population. Eventually, The Raiconian Alliance was formed, and began to organize and direct the Raiken. Spaceflight was achieved soon after, and they expanded to colonize their home system. Their search for relics brought them outside their home system, and deep into uncharted regions. Not long after, the Raiken stumbled upon the Tanglegrowth, a jungle region, and inhabited with many new intelligent life. The Raiken colonized and enslaved the new races. A few centuries later, the enslaved races rose up, and declared itself independent, and established the Federation of Independent Races. The ensuring war was known as the Dark Century, as the Raiken fought to keep it's slaves, frowned upon by the public. After losing the war, the Raiken contented itself to expand, research, and find more relics.

Physical Advantages: All Raiken are slightly stronger and faster than humans, though their intelligence is roughly equal.
Physical Disadvantages: Raiken evolution on a lower gravity planet has decreased their overall endurance
Special Abilities that all Raiken have: None
Special Powers: The only special power is a rare genetic trait that affects Raiken with Sentinel blood heritage. These individuals are known as Shifters, and they possess the power to shift the four basic elements. When a shifter is discovered, they are quickly whisked away to a special training program. Shifters are rare, and almost never used in combat, only when the situation is dire.
